🔼 Tough As Nails. FAU women's soccer scored two first half goals, buckled down defensively in the second half, and secured a 2-1 victory over previously unbeaten Louisiana last night. With a steady rain falling at kickoff and throughout much of the first half, the Owls opened the scoring in the 16th minute—Olivia Bori dribbled around a defender down the right side and put a low cross into the six-yard box, and Sloane Young was there to clean it up for her second goal in as many games. It was the first goal Louisiana had conceded in three games and over 300 minutes.

🔼 Home Sweet Home. FAU men's soccer is rolling out the red carpet for Marist when they come to town for the team’s first home match of the 2023 season tonight. The Owls are looking to avenge last year’s loss when the Red Foxes earned a 2-0 win in Poughkeepsie, and they’ve got every ounce of momentum to do it after going unbeaten in Nashville this past weekend—headlined by a six-goal barn burner win over Lipscomb.
