🎥 HOMECOMING

CJ James is the only Lobo on the roster from Massachusetts, and Saturday it just meant more. CJ and the Lobos got the win at UMass in front of his family. Click here to see what this week meant to CJ James!

🔥 UPGRADE YOUR TAILGATE

Make the right call. Don’t throw a Hail Mary at your next tailgate—go for the sure thing and pick up some Raising Cane’s before your next Lobos game. Chicken fingers with Cane’s Sauce are a must-have to kick off game day this season.

No matter what, Raising Cane’s has your tailgate covered.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Never Back Down, Never What? Never give up! The Lobos never gave up at UMass. New Mexico scored touchdowns on four-straight drives before halftime, leading 28-14 at the break. The second half was a little different, which led to UMass catching up and pushing the game into overtime. The Lobo defense held them to a field goal on their possession, and then Jacory Croskey-Merritt shoved in a two-yard touchdown for the win. The Lobos closed it out 34-31.

🔼 Fallin’ For Softball. Fall is officially here, which means fall softball is also here! The Lobos will play two games on Saturday against Otero at 2pm & 4pm before heading to Lubbock for two games at Texas Tech on Sunday. Admission is free at Lobo Softball Field on Saturday, so come out and get a sneak peak!

🔼 Host With The Most. The men’s golf team will host the Tucker Intercollegiate today and tomorrow. The first two rounds will be played today, starting at 7:30am. Admission is free for spectators at UNM Championship Course. Players from 20 schools will be playing, including five that reached the NCAA Championship last year.

🔼 Winner, Winner. A Lobo became a Griak individual champion when Habtom Keleta ran the fastest time by an individual winner since 2011! He ran a 23:36.4 8k. Lukas Kiprop and Evans Kiplagat cracked the top-five to put the Lobos in third-place. The women’s team landed in sixth-place thanks to a second-place finish by Nicola Jansen and an eighth-place finish by Peyton Schieppe.

🐺 ONE BIG THING

Coach Gonzales joined Jesse Kurtz on the Mountain West Network to talk about the tribute to the Extraordinary Lobos, who were honored in the Rio Grande Rivalry game. If you haven’t seen the heart-warming story, check it out here!
